Position Summary


As the Corporate Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for the development, effective communication and delivery of the global benefits philosophy & strategies that contribute to a positive employee experience and reward to attract and retain high caliber talent within Nestlé.
You will ensure that benefits and identified well-being programs contribute towards the achievement of our global People Strategy, Total Rewards policy and priorities and other relevant corporate commitments for creating shared value and environmental goals, supporting the employer value proposition, the employee well-being and diversity & inclusion initiatives.

A Day in the Life of the Corporate Benefits Manager


  • Act as global Ambassador for employee benefits to inspire the organisation and drive the creation of a structure that supports the global benefits agenda in alignment to Nestlé's stated priorities and goals and in line with the changing ways of working and our physical environment
  • Conceptualize, design and effectively communicate the benefits frameworks that deliver to Nestlé's global priorities including minimum expectations for local markets to implement
  • Build alignment and commitment within the HR organization and other functions impacted, considering cultural differences and employee personas
  • Lead the identification and selection of global preferred providers in conjunction with Procurement and selected functions (ie Pensions, Risk, Health) to drive standardization and simplification of the benefits management
  • Benchmark across all areas of benefits and well-being to elevate and evolve of the portfolio to meet the changing landscape of our workforce and total rewards
  • Drive the collection and reporting of local benefits and well-being policies and practices to enable identification of opportunities and informed decision making
  • Drive the reduction in time invested by Nestlé’s Regional and Market teams in benefits reviews, design, management, administration and communication by developing templates and frameworks for local adaptation and use
  • Drive a global approach to build functional capabilities that support the benefits function within Total Rewards, broader Human Resources and within associated functions (Pensions, Risk, Finance, Health etc.).
  • Indirectly lead a benefits community that looks across all geographies and businesses / functions in Nestlé
  • Oversight of the global benefits costs and financial risks to proactively identify issues and where common mitigating actions would add value for Nestlé’s Markets (e.g. plan design, vendor changes etc.)
  • Design and deliver communications templates, internal & external marketing and education materials for markets to leverage and localize to ensure robust understanding by HRBPs, Line Managers and end users (employees, candidates etc.) of benefits programs
  • Ensure benefits with a global remit are reviewed for design improvements, accurately managed, reported and communicated (ie expatriate pension and medical)


What will make you successful


  • University Degree level education or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in Total Rewards / Benefits or Human Resources
  • More than 10 years successful managerial experience
  • Stakeholder management and sound judgement
  • Worked within a matrix environment achieving results through effective influencing and collaborating at all levels in the organization
  • Proven project management experience inclusive of global change management
  • Deep expertise in 1 or more benefits areas (pension, medical or total well-being)
  • Can do attitude, hands on professional, eager to learn, contribute and grow
  • Previous experience in driving optimization through strong financial understanding
  • Excellent communication skills at C-Suite level
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Great ability to influence without authority and to build strong professional relationships
  • Team player mindset - ability to work as a part of a multifunctional team
  • Fluency in English
